Apple TV raises prices, but there's a smarter way to pay
Ad-free streaming, five-member sharing, and a strong library still make the price hike easier to swallow.
Apple TV is officially getting a price hike. On paper, it doesn’t sound like a huge jump, but the company’s pricing history makes the latest increase more noticeable. Now, at $14.99, Apple TV costs roughly three times what it did at its initial launch. In 2019, Apple TV cost just $4.99 per month. Since then, the streaming service has been hit by three price increases in 2022, 2023, and 2025.
